Interior dome light and radio not working

I did something stupid the other day and used a small metal screwdriver to remove a dome lightbulb in my 95 Infiniti G20 (it is difficult to remove by hand). The lightbulb was not coming on consistently, so I thought it might be ready to be replaced. As I did this, I heard a small 'pop' sound, then the bulb broke, and the radio went out at the same time.

I figured maybe I had blown the fuse for that circuit, but the fuse looks OK. Any ideas on what could be wrong? If its a short circuit, any tips on how to locate the exact location of the short would be appreciated. Thanks. hi. somtimes a fuse will look good but be bad. replace it or use a test lite. hpoe this helps. Car Repair Talk's forum.
