Hi all.
The air conditioner works, but the clutch engages and disengages extremely often (probably once every couple of seconds and at irregular intervals). Is this most likely from a bad clutch, a bad thermistor circuit, or from possible short somewhere?
Thanks for any help you can give me.
Jerry It is probably low on freon. There is a pressure switch in the system designed to keep it from running with an improper charge. If it was to continue running with a low charge, compressor damage would result. Guru is right , but if the charge is correct , the same switch that he was talking about , might be the problem.. What compressor do you have ?? does it have built in valves that open Car Repair Talk's forum.
