discharging auto battery-drain with car off and parked

I have for the past two weeks or so been experiencing a dead auto battery in the morning. When I put a charger on the battery it will accept the charge. The battery charges fully over night; and then I will have no problems for about 2 days of use. I use the car a lot every day. The battery is about 3 years old and is a 36 month battery. I took the vehicle to Advanced Auto yesterday and they tested the battery and charging system. The results indicate the battery is good and so is the alternator; however, the tester reveals a major draw on the battery. Yet, I can find nothing staying on in the car? What could be putting such a draw on the battery when the car is both running or off?

Well first it is most likely not an excessive draw while running, because the regulator would trip out, more likely you have drain with car off and parked,

Get a dc clamp meter and put it on the cables with the car off, and measure the current draw.

If it is low, I would suspect a bad battery, a oorroded connection, something like that.

We need to define if the draw is all the time and at the same rate as best we can,

If the battery is bad, and or a connection bad, it could be during driving and during the time it is off, but which is which?

tHE ACTUAL CURRENT VALUE MEASURED WITH CAR OFF AND PARKED WILL TELL US A BUNCH/

i FOUGHT AND OLD 64 Nova same problems, except the draw while driving was fairly normal,

6 mechanics tore that thing up for 2 years, one Saturday, I found the license plate bulb holder just rusted to pieces holding the bulb barely up in the frame, but pouring current out the license plate light.

What kind of car and what are the test specifics of they gave you?
